I bought the Citizen Men 's Eco-Drive Skyhawk Chronograph Watch # JR3000-51F because ' ve owned It 's predecessor: the chronograph Navihawk. My Navihawk died after a dozen years of satisfactory service. How I discovered the more difficult path, break the seal of the houses Navihawk replace the battery (which was needed three times about it 's life) created a way for moisture and fat to penetrate the skin and corroir inside. (This despite the fact that I never swim or shower while you Navihawk.) The cost of repairing my Navihawk was almost as much as the purchase price of a new Skyhawk. R GH compared with JR3000-51F titanium version. .. Citizen Men 's Eco-Drive Skyhawk Titanium Chronograph Watch # JR3060-59f ... and the model that is synchronized with the atomic clock signal ... Citizen Men 's Eco-Drive Skyhawk AT Watch # JY0000-53E. Accustomed to the weight of a stainless steel case and bracelet, I do not 'I think the titanium version gave me more value for differential pricing, particularly as some other critics have pointed out that the model titanium was susceptible to scratches. I came to a similar conclusion regarding the "to " model. My experience with the very precise time-keeping qualities of Navihawk led me to believe that JR3000-51F with satisfactorily fulfill my needs. The Eco " Drive " feature make my decision to buy the Skyhawk in comparison with competitors. R Rupon received my Skyhawk (which came before the delivery dates provided), it worked right of the box. The weather was overshadowed by a couple of minutes but the interactive instructions (on the CD in the box) was a snap to fix the time pressure. My previous experience with the process, something idiosyncratic adjust Navihawk probably helped me get off to good start Skyhawk. Count me as one happy camper.
Is it a good clock with very nice features. I like it because I can adjust the time zone very quickly and still know the time zone in men. I was worried it might too big for my wrist, but it fits well. Bought R ri at Amazon and got it from a company in South Texas. However, there were a few problems. I think it must have been sitting on the shelf, before the sale for a while. The button would stick for a while, it doesn 't more. The "on " icon (for alarm) looks more like "Ox ". This could be for the rebuilding or factory seconds. Still I like it very much.
I have the titanium version. Got these as a gift from my wife for my birthday and I love them. Many features and aesthetic designs.
It occurred to me that a worker is lucky that this watch 5 years of service. Being a geek clock, I was very happy to receive a $ 400 FREE. I have received in the mail today and read the booklet. The CD was more useful as it gives you settings to play with audio and video playback. Only took me about 20 minutes of installation for use. R rPros: clock solid stainless steel band, time zones, countdown timer, 3 alarms, stopwatch, military time, a date that never needs a battery. R rCons: The bezel has numbers for the calculations, but it 's almost impossible to see / read and not ' s not the backlight. Maybe I 'm spoiled with my Casio .. lol.
This is a very accurate nice watch, but I have a small hand, I want to have a smaller size with the same characteristics
I would recommend the clock and the companies we have bought it from. It was a big business, and there were no surprises when my order arrived and it arrived on time! The clock is difficult, but my husband loves them. It was very hard to upset this clock for Christmas and when he found out how much I paid for him even happier! Great purchase!
I had a friend lend me an earlier version of this watch when I went on a long trip to the Middle East. I loved so much, I bought this version, when I could get my (which is even more beautiful). It 'was stolen ... So I bought it again as soon as I could afford. This seller shipped quickly and had a great price. N. Batteries confusion with the time in the world, 24 hours, comfortable ... and great looking to boot ... watch and I recommend this seller!
I received this watch with a little flaw. The compose Nick it.Just A small flaw.I Don 't hope you visit often.
Pros: r-It is a Citizen! R-5 year warranty r-very nice looking r-eco-drive system: never needs batteries r-complete world time (DST per zone, etc). R rCONS: r-no light (but that is due to the eco-drive) r-no hourly alarm r-for me, its is difficult to pull out the crown without loosening the bracelet r-very easy to scratch ( and they say the titanium version is even more soft!) r rFor an average male wrist, it is not too big nor too heavy.
The Citizen Skyhawk Flight Chronograph Eco-Drive is one of my three favorite hits, alongside a Multi-Gauge Casio Pathfinder Titanium and Seiko Black Monster. Why? The common denominators of these three models, amindst my collection of other Swiss and Japanese brands are longevity and reliability. In the case of the Skyhawk, I might add - gadget appeal.
I have a titanium version of this watch. This is a great looking clock, world time zones feature is invaluable. I spend it every day to watch 5 years. I recommend this watch to anyone. I must admit that there are some flaws. First of all, pins in the bracelet seems to get loose over time. Crystal is not flat and gets scratched very easy. I wish there was a backlight of the LCD but it would make you watch look cheap. Bracelet finally broke the Slayer concert, I think the clock has torn from my hand in the moshpit. I was lucky to find the bracelet and watch 15 minutes later. Although the strap broke, the watch only sustained a few bruises after at least 300 people were hitting and going apesh # $ is on them. I think it 'll bracelet for a new or replace the watch with something expensive.
This is the best watch I ever had. Period. I examine the atomic clock on the internet and it is the most accurate clock in the collection. Not the cheapest I've ever owned watch, but the best certasinly.
Before I reveal its critical flaw, let me say I love the way you watch the look. R rThat said, has no backlight clock! I do not see the analog time at night and the digital display is well read in March in even light (not you seen a LCD display with a watch that didn t 'a backlight?). Not having a backlight is an inexcusable flaw where to watch this price. And the clock hands phosporescent lose almost an hour, so that doesn 't help much. Of course, you can only carry on the flashlight you. R rBecause of broken, I rarely wear a watch. I wear a Casio cheaper with backlight do not like anywhere near as much. R Rif consider this watch against any other, just make sure you also consider how important to you to be able to read the time in the dark and to be able to read digital LCD display when you don 't have optimal light. If it is important to find a different watch.
I did a lot of research online before deciding on this watch, and I am very happy. Great looking watch with all the functions I could ever want or need. I 'private pilot but that's nice to have the E-6B calulator on the bezel, but because of it ' s cut would be of little use in a cockpit. However, it might be useful for pre-flight planning in a pinch. I chose the steel on titanium, thanks to the reviews that it was easily scratched / ruined. Steel is heavier (Abou 4 oz), but haven 't notice the weight when I put on. ROverall, love the watch and recommend.
Watch beautifully designed, easy to use and understand. Combine practicality with a design very stilish.
For years I I brought a cheap digital watch because I could not 't find anything more enjoyable than looking to incorporate the same functions as my digital. The watches offer a similar clock more attractive, but generally have to sacrifice features hand used to take me. For me, the Eco-Drive Skyhawk combines the best of analog and digital worlds. R rthe Skyhawk has two small LCD screens 's that give you all the same functions as my digital and even add some more. Look turning access these different functions of the crown settlement (which really doesn 't even use this feature in the Skyhawks from the clock is powered by a solar cell under the front plate). Turning the crown broken hand how small on the bottom line and most points in the abbreviated name of the function you 've selected. R rthe functions LCD 's are: time (hour, minutes and seconds on the screen right time zone on the left), (calendar day, month and day of week on the right, the zone to the left), alarm (there are three different alarms, hour, minute and '' and 'outside ' the right time zone to the left), chronograph (up to 99 "99 " to the right, the left indicates that the split time, etc..) Timer (countdown 99 '99 "), and September, which is to set the time, date, etc.. for the clock. the names can be programmed to measure for time zones, if you choose. For example, instead of LAX to Pacific time, I SEA (Seattle), scheduled for my area time. Whereas handles analog display my local time, leave the LCD as calendar, but could also have a different time zone 's time or date set for display. r rthe two smaller dials showing the 24 clock hours UTC (Universal Time Constant same London time) on the upper right of line (with minute and hour) and a 24-hour clock (with only a hand time) to your local time zone in the upper-left quadrant. My watch came with the date and time as scheduled in I only had to put the clock in my time zone. r rther a slide rule bezel that rotates around the front plate and apparently can be used to calculate fuel consumption and oil for aircraft. I do not 't notice anything in the instructions explaining how to use it, but I ' m not a pilot or an engineer, and Don 't have a use for it anyway. r rthe Skyhawk ships with a CD-ROM that has the narrator guides you through the steps for creating your watch and use the various functions. These tutorials identical can be accessed from the public 's website here: http://www.citizenwatch.com / us / frame_noflash.html. There is also a printed manual that covers the same information. R rCitizen states that this clock never need a new battery in your life. The Skyhawk recharge its internal battery via a solar panel under the front plate. When you look closely, you can see that the front plate is made of a dark but semi-transparent material like glass sunglasses. With normal wear, must be kept full of ambient light is on or fora.Fins though denied a light source, the public demands a fully charged watch can go four months before running out of energy. LCD screens on the left three horizontal bar to indicate how it takes the clock. R GH there are only two negatives with this clock. There is a feature that is not my $ 10 digital watch does, and that 'sa time to read the light in the darkness. Lamps take a lot of battery power, so I can understand why people chose not to include in a sundial, but sometimes I miss the night. The numbers of the front plate and handles analog to have a light-in-the-dark material in them, but it 's still not as easy to read time in the dark as it is with my digital, which has a light blue background. R rthe other negative (for some people) can be made. This is a very good size, the wrist watch. It 'sa bit wider than most men ' s watches, and probably a little thicker, too. That said, I think the size of the front plate and the overall design of the clock is such that doesn 't seem too big on my wrist just below average. But it 's personal appeal, and I can see how some might find this too big and bulky for their tastes. You may want to visit a local dealer to see take a look before ordering. R Ryou must know that there are three different versions of this clock, with different price tags (all metals, mixed metal / rubber bracelet, and Blue-Angels-commemorative version). Each version is available in stainless steel or titanium. Mine is all metal stainless steel version. I weigh the pros and cons of titanium and decided not to do so. Relative tensile strength for stainless steel, titanium is more corrosion resistant, has a major and is lighter. But I can 't imagine a scenario where I ' m need these benefits. The clock 's weight is not a problem for me. Once you 's wrist, hardly realize that ' s not. The disadvantages of titanium which costs more and has a slightly darker color and less bright than stainless steel. The titanium is also a soft metal, so it should be less resistant to abrasion. R Rall in all, I 'm very happy with this watch. Combining an elegant, simple elegance with all the features I want in a watch. R 'll have to see Ryou size ' s bracelet when you receive it (unless the doll very large). You can do this yourself if you have the right tool. There are tiny needles holding the various links. We also need a small tool to push through from one side to another. Take note of the arrows on the inside of the wrist showing the direction you must push the pins. If you don 't made of yourself, make sure the arrows point to the person who sizes for you. I took my watch to the jewelry counter in a shop of respect for help. Unfortunately, the woman who helped did not force his hand and ended up dragging a number of links of metal before they knew what he was doing (yes, brushed stainless steel will be zero). If you can find the tool to do so, I recommend the same size to avoid the aggravation I went ... ..
This is a superbly designed watches. The advanced features (eg, chronograph, world time zone settings, alarms) are easy to use and understand. For Eco-drive system, the battery really takes forever and it keeps accurate time. It is truly waterproof. If you are a pilot of the slide bezel works great for Calculating fuel consumption, speed, etc. The safety clasp fastens securely and easily accessible. If weight is an issue, the titanium version is much lighter than stainless though it shows wear (eg, surface scratches) more profits.
