To see Sturdy, easy to read and very stylish ... If you are big, heavy watches black! This clock was purchased to see a temporary replacement for my stolen pd Orsino, but now that I wear it for a few weeks, I am very satisfied with the quality and appearance of this clock satisfied. It is a real gem! I have received more compliments for this clock as the much more expensive Porsche Clock.

I won 't comment much look and watch, except to say it. R a career pilot the main features that appeal to me: r r * The large, easy to read face, r * Continuous Visible, offsettable 24H hand (used for GMT), r * At the date of display. R e6b included rThe is purely for Aesthetics. About the only math operations, I can do it faster than the watch in my head is with the square root (which is circular sliderule a neat trick). I personally find a * real * e6b difficult to use in a cockpit environment, and you can be one of those immediately in any position rather than having to crank it around with a small knob . To use one of these clocks should delete it from your wrist for two reasons: 1) only half of the rotating bezel can actually read your wrist, and 2) the crown for doing it is to 8 o 'clock position. I used the external bezel 's Red '60> Mark ' to note the position of a minute hand as you can use a dive bezel, but without the handy minute mark. If e6b actually appeal to you despite the gadget factor, consider a watch which e6b is operated by rotating the outer bezel and the ring is readable without removing it from your wrist. R rThis give us that really a pilot-y nature of this clock, in my opinion: A 24H GMT hand. Everything in aviation is "Zulu time '. Flight plans, weather, winds aloft, NOTAMs, airport hours of operation, etc. Watch this action is appropriate for a 24h outer ring, but instead shows the time by two-headed 4th hand in two concentric semi-circle to the left of the watch. The proportion is higher than the internal dials used in some watches, but is also critical to read. the hand moves continuously, so when you are near the top of the time required to consult the minute hand first to interpret the 24h hand. The hour and minute hands can be quite the same eclipse of 24h hand. Twice a day the hour hand obscures the 24h pointer for better part of an hour. The red markings from 13 .. 24 is not nearly as easy to read as the white mark (there 's of Another very attractive Asian model watch with brown face where the red marks are almost totally unreadable). R rThe LUME is good and last for many hours. Immediately after direct sun exposure, you'll see it glowing even in the shade outside. The clicks of date over fairly quickly and midnight (it does not cost a long time Halfway between dates). This is a screw-down crown. The stem can use a little more sense when picking the first detent (used to recover the hour hand and adjust the date in short months). Bracelets are comfortable and easily adjusted to 1 / 8 "extension. R Rif buy one that you, make sure to download the manual from Citizen. PDF is much more complete than the booklet together, including more detailed charge information and instruction on using e6b if you are not familiar with it.

This is a great Clock with a strong presence. It is very easy to read at a glance, since the marks are big and bold. The crystal is perfectly clear and without distortion. R rthe band and clasp are solid, well made and quality materials. It is a very comfortable watch to wear the following proper installation. R rthe second time zone with 24-hour information is estimated to be a function of all pilots. And unlike some other watches with dual time, makes this clock marks the second time zone large enough to be truly useful. The button for the slide rule bezel/E6B computer is fairly complicated to operate, since it at the 8:00-position, unless you wear it on your right arm. But this type of gadget will be generally on the floor for fast forward flight planning, or use 'hangar at ' and not normally during the flight, it doesn 't detract from the watch list. R rthe BLUE lume (glow in the dark) on the hands and markers is a welcome change from the typical green. It is generously applied to all markings and very light after a levy in the light. There really is a night-the-clock superior appearance, with the look of a modern cockpit instrument. R rConsidering the large diameter of the clock, the case is a fairly low profile. R rThis is my second Citizen Watch but certainly not be my last. I have a large collection of "pilot 'style watches, 30x the price for this clock several calculations. But I can honestly say that the newer air-Series Citizen watches like the fit and workmanship of some of the best luxury brands. The glaring deficiency is the lack of a sapphire crystal. I really hope to start Citizen levels and that the U.S. market, which already exist in the Japanese market and the Euro market - we really need, sapphire crystals. R Rother wish lists for these are Atomic Clock Time, Date and a larger display with perpetual calendar. r rthe bottom line is that you can 't go wrong with this watch for the price.

Titanium Nighthawk purchased from Amazon a few years ago. its rock. always at work and time. R rthe line is easy to read and watch the surprisingly comfortable. If anything is missing a look at the clock stops. R rNote so sure about "Pilot Watch " look, I am a private pilot, and honestly don 't have time to fiddle with the features clock. A pilot for the first concern is that the watch is clear and legible day and night, the Nighthawk is just that, and the over-sized face can be seen easily in any light and with a glance at his watch. However, adjusting the calculator during the flight is not for the faint of heart, although I think that applies to all so-called "watch pilot, the cockpit electronics of today is full of practices that give all the necessary information much more practical way (although its nice to be able to calculate the travel time in cases where GPS does not work, but then we probably have bigger problems to worry about). R rInterestingly O 8 'Nob clock to adjust the calculator is on the left, requiring for the watch worn on the right hand to adjust, and wear, unlike the buttons clocks can not be easily adjusted when worn on the left hand. R rFor me two time zones is convenient to travel constantly. it is also practical that the main display is now set in increments of 1 hour so you do not need to bother to get the minutes right when setting the clock for a new time zone. (I always leave the house for 24 hours, the time display) r rHIGHLY recommended for my thousand miles this is my favorite watch.

watchzone is great to deal with. i love to deal with him again and again for my every need, if watch zone is seller.

This watch is equipped with everything you need. For those who need it, as I have time military, vibrant light in the dark markers and hands, and all with a look very nice. I find it very useful when the ruler slide locked in a pinch and you need to make quick calculations. But even if you don 't buy for the features, a clock is very robust and attractive. Do not miss with the public.

The watch bracelet does not conform well to smaller size wrists. The design of the bracelet is flawed in July at the interface. The bracelet does not pivot enough at the July interface Which forms an arc and therefore creates a Considerable amount of gap between the side of the wrist and bracelet. I regretfully had to return the nighthawk due to this issue.

I watch it almost four years ago and still runs like a champ and still very accurate time. I bought a watch with a silver and black body. I've picked a place I might not be but the years have proven extremely durable and reliable. The only problem is that the band version of the skin (which i guess they dont sell anymore) it is impossible to find. A very special band created for this watch and I always see - literally - everywhere to replace the band and can not find it. Ive looked in some countries, even Citizen dealer and no one has the original band for it - could not find a good website so I've got a cheap replacement. R Rother than all that great to watch and for the longest time people would comment on how good it looked and that always feels good. Imitation is quite versatile in what clothes can go together. This can be worn very casually and also worked as dressing - leather or metal band had a second time. R rall in all a very good watch and worth the money. Eco-drive technology really fantastic. Knowing that you do not have to worry about replacing the batteries (which compromise waterproof) big on the conscience.

I bought this watch for my husband for Christmas. He is beloved! He still air about it. Watch it also looks even better in person than on the website.

I am very satisfied with my Citizen Eco-Drive Nighthawk (Black). I did a fairly thorough study of drivers 's watch, and for me this watch offers the best combination of features that I wanted as the internal rotating bezel slide rule, solar, luminous hands, Zulu time indication and very good water resistance (200 meters) with the right looks for a fair price. It looks great, has proven to be extremely accurate and so far (1 week), the arrival of black ion has not scratched.

Product arrived as described. Great price. Quick delivery. Would order here again.

I got this watch as a Christmas present for my brother and he was very happy with it!

This is the least expensive watch I own. I wear them almost every day. I love it. Supplements I've been through before on my clock so much. Some-guy wrote that this was a serious look and it is better to see for the price ... In A heavy weight is good, and $ 200 for a clock is cheap. This is a solid Clock. If you have a light thin cheap Clock, Don 't buy this then you write a bad review.

I wanted this watch for a year and a half, and my wife finally got it for me as a 30th birthday gift. RThis face of this watch is slightly larger than the average watch, but it is not as huge as some of the new overly large gaudy watches. It was a little difficult to get everything in sync to begin with (24hour in sync with date took some time), but now it runs great and seems very accurate. rthe black wears off the edges of the band slightly, but it still looks great. r RUpdate 2-10-09: The black band wears off I Significantly where it rubs on tabletops and such. Do not buy this watch if you think the band will stay in great shape forever.

The visual clock and this too, loved him. Eh expensive watch and I think there was an alarm. The scheme to use more than one time zone eh a little 'hard to see, then you are using a horario same. The scheme to set the clock seems to be fragile, so far had no problems, but do not give me confidence. It is said that the black paint off in time, my new and not yet submitted this problem, but it seems I regret not having bought the paintings.

Actual diameter of the bezel is 41 mm, and with the addition of the crown in addition to almost 45 mm, and in controlling the width and 12 mm. R characteristic rFirst strike me was the weight of the watch, It 's definitely on the heavy side, but not crossing the line to become bulky and weighs about 12 oz With a diameter of 41 mm is a little big, but it is not akward in small wrists like mine. Color is a glossy black and unfortunately, scratching the time it was a bit disappointing. The end feels a little weak, and this is 2 Citizen Watch I 've owned this same type of closure, I'm a little nervous that the folding mechanism eventually break, as happened before somewhere I-95 with my last watch. R rthe slide rule operated by crown or 8 'clock position, it glides very smoothly. The origin of the slide rule is able to calculate fuel consumption, groud speed, air speed and distance, division, multiplication, and square. This is not an easy task and the user manual offers little in the way of clarification, I suppose if you 're a pilot would not be difficult to understand, but for regular people It ' s more of a novelty feature is useful. R RTO short, this is a very nice watch worth the pricetag. It looks good, feels very solid and, of course, never needs a battery. Citizens should study the most effective way to ensure that a stainless steel watch black stays black, and making a more reliable closure.

Citizen Watch and build a magnificent Amazon provide this watch with a price less than the half from the stores. RNO comments just perfect

Although I have never owned a Citizen watch until the Nighthawk, I have come away pretty impressed. The watch has a screw-down bezel and moves the internal slide rule, which is very smooth. The slide rule is a really nice touch, but I would be hard pressed to use it while flying. I am not sure why the black version is more expensive, but I was shopping for something with more of a unique look, and the black casing and band remove it from the sea of silver or leather banded watches. Overall, the watch is quite versatile and I am happy with the purchase.

I saw this clock in a shop in Singapore and fell in love with him. Watch Awesome. WR 20 bar (200m), although the manual actually says its ok for swimming but not for diving. Strange, with 20 bar should be good for regular scuba diving up to 30m, etc.. Store price in Singapore was S $ 699 less any discount special room, I still have a better deal on Amazon. The watch is spectacular (who) works like a charm (in time), easy to understand and define (with dual time). The only problem I had is adjusting the band, which is a litle complicated. The band could have been a little more flexible, for U.S. $ 450 I would expect a better band. To adjust the length (if the adjustment is not regular enough) You need to pinch bit of steel posts with a tool or a bug that has been, but they are very tight. Pinch them in the direction of the arrow on the inner side of the clock. Otherwise, clock, large, is powered by the sun and needs a new battery! Commissioned by Amazon CDI Watches, entered the new house and within 2 days. Excellent business. R rUpdate! The black belt is a disaster, lost its color within 3 weeks, and the clock began to get some silver spots as well, returned it immediately. I asked one of silver, then, the band still sucks. It 'sa shame for Citizen sell like watching a nice prize in a high retail with this poor band. It seems that they do not care about your brand and reputation. Keeping the wath but as I love him, but be prepared for even the range of silver, to get color stains and scratches in no time. The band is a very poor. R rUpdate 10/2008: I love the clock. The band of silver is even more OK. Much better choice than a black.

Edit: I have had this for sometime now, its been a great watch, many compliments when wearing it, its built tough, but the stainless version might have been a better choice. In my earlier review I stated that PVD is not supposed to come off, I was in error, its more resistant to scratching off than other applications of color. My band and around the watch face have been really scratched up and the steel shows from under, very evident in direct light. The face is perfect though, no scratches at all, I am amazed at that since the bezel is scratched pretty well. Overall I would give it 4 stars instead of the 3 I originally gave Because it performs so well, one star off for amazon still sending me a version that wasn't brand new. R rbought from amazon for $ 215. was a steal for that price, when watch arrived it was a in a damaged box, and there was no protective film on the watch except on the back with a piece of badly cut aftermarket film that didn't even cover the whole case back! manuals were bent on some edges. R rUnbeliveable from amazon that they would not even check to see if returns Their items were used. No protective covering on watch face or group. the inside of deploy showed signs of wear already! ... sides of watch face had slight scratches in the PVD Which is really weird Because PVD is not supposed to scratch off ... the stainless steel shows easliy but are minor. R r and was very disappointed in the watch and I received but by this is a great product. just do not buy this from amazon though they dont sell it anymore. eco drive does not offer a sweep motion like in automatic watches. lume is great on this but does not last long in the dark. solid link band feels and looks great. Clasper with marking good citizen. signed crown. poor quality face back. the japanese version of this watch has a very nicly engraved case back and better looking lume tipped steel hour markers. all versions of this watch look great on the wrist though!

Okay, I admit that I was looking for a clock that looks more than function was. I wanted something that looked different than the normal "run of the mill " watches, which you will find anywhere. R rWhen searching Amazon for a variety of choices, I was immediately drawn to the Black Citizen Nighthawk. The black metal band and Clock is a rarity among the clocks. The dial was really appealing especially with the large numbers and red numbers 24 hours. R RI has read the Amazon description of the goods and knew that it came with Eco-Drive. This is a real plus, because I never had the battery can be replaced. Most of the watches are water-never, once the battery has been replaced. R rI bought the clock and I 've had it for about 6 months. First, I must say that the clock is beautiful. I 've had several comments about the clock from people who appear to agree. I also love the large numbers and hands. The clock is easy to read bright and dark. The mineral glass is so clear that it 's like it isn ' t even there. The Eco Drive works flawlessly and changed the date is a breeze. R rif you don 't like big, heavy watches, then this clock is not for you. But if looks awesome and black stainless steel you like, then you can 't better than this clock.

I bought the model with the leather strap. Overall, it is a very nice watch - but a little heavy. The thing that freaks me out is on the clock, that correspond to the pointer for a few seconds and the seconds on the clock don 't. I might be able to change somewhere, but look for $ 200 that should work.
