Description
Citizen Eco-Drive Aqualand Men Titanium Chronograph watch will make a powerful statement when used with the business and casual dress, but it is made to take the punishment of a dive in deep water with its 660 feet (200 meters) water resistance. He also has a depth sensor that provides an accurate reading of 125 feet and will also record your maximum depth for the memory. The large, round watch case and bracelet band are both made of solid titanium, which is almost 50 percent lighter than steel, but 30 percent stronger. It is also particularly resistant to corrosion from salt water, as well as hypo-allergenic - perfect for people with allergies to metals. This clock has a large, round silver watch case stainless steel - which measures 48 millimeters (1.9 inches) wide without the crown and 15mm (0.6 inches) deep - which is topped by a unidirectional rotating bezel with black engraved elapsed time markings. The black dial features three subdials (for the 50-minute chronograph, 24-hours display and seconds), large luminous dial markers, white luminous tip hands (with red seconds hand). Other features include a large date display at 3 o'clock, the risk of resistant mineral crystal, with anti-reflective coating, and a screw back case, screw-down crown. This watch is powered by Citizen's unique Eco-Drive, which absorbs sunlight and any artificial light through the crystal and dial to recharge the watch continuously. With regular exposure to light, Eco-Drive continuously recharges itself for a lifetime of use. This watch Eco-Drive provides an energy reserve 60-day, and can be recharged with just 2 hours of exposure to light. Feature Summary: View of the depth of 125 feet maximum depth memory Unidirectional Rotating elapsed chronograph time aro 50-hours 12/24 hours minutes Screw-Back Case and Screw-down crown

This watch is great! Its light, its easy to configure and is a lot of seconds. The drawback is the lens of the extended date, but extends beyond the glass of the watch and sometimes gets caught on things like moves. The conern is that it can crack at some point. Besides, it is strongly recommended for anyone who wants to combine a work and see diving.
I bought this watch for my husband - a dive shop owner and instructor - in 2004 to replace his previous Citizen Aqualand (which I had for 5 years before that!) R rthe watch performs beautifully even after years of 2-tank salt water diving, teaching sessions in pools etc. I've never had any problems whatsoever with his watch, and it still looks great, Whether he 's wearing it in the water, or to a meeting. R rif he ever had a problem with the one he 's got, he assured me that the next thing I ' ll do is go right back out and buy another ... R rProblems with the watch as reported are probably due to improper sizing, or not Ensuring the knob is screwed in properly before entering the water ... R rWorth every penny!
I owned this watch for 11 days before I took it out for a first dive. Before that I really liked it. It is light enough, strong, kind of looks classy, and I really like the ecodrive. r rFirst dive I took it out where it performed very well. We were under for 55 minutes at max depth of 55 meters feet/18. The watch read great, even during the safety stop at 15 feet it was responsive and read well. After the dive it Remembered max depth for record keeping purposes, which I really liked. R Rabo two hours after the dive, the trouble started. When rinsing it with fresh water, I noticed condensation on the inside. Within a month I realized it was dying a slow death. The moisture on the inside must have killed the eco-drive and maybe drained its battery. The power drained, watch the slowed down, and after 5 days, it was all over. r ri am very disappointed, because this is not a cheap watch, and I could have also bought SUUNTO $ 200 computer that would not have given me this trouble. r rThe next step is to test Citizen 's warranty, and see if they fix it for free, and then if it will work as a true dive watch. I am not getting my hopes up. R rUpdate June 13 2009: The Citizen watch repaired under warranty without charge. I have a dive trip coming up in July and will then test again. R rUpdate July 30 2009: took the watch out for 4 Dives, deepest was 70 feet. It performed very well and I enjoyed it very much to dive with. In addition, I took it out snorkeling and skin diving to 30 feet maximum and it responded very well. With the comprehensive watch repaired for free under warranty, AND RAISE IT TO 4 out of 5 stars.
I 'ma diver, and my wife wanted to buy me a watch to replace my watch Cheap. I wanted a big dive watch geeky, my wife wanted a nice watch that would look good with a dress. We both wanted this watch. Rin the past, I 've never look to take more than a year. I 'd buy watches that claimed to be waterproof to 300 meters, and the first time I ' d dive with them is usually the last. Sometimes It would just be a pool to kill them. Meu things changed when I saw this watch. I 've had it for almost 4 years, and just keeps going. RI dive with a dive team. We dive at least once a month. I 've dove into the water from 34 degrees to 82 degress, and at least 75 m deep. Over the past 4 years, this watch is gone with me on every dive. I remember a dive in cold water when my dive computer 's LCD screen went blank for extreme cold. My Citizen Watch continued without a hiccup. Oak Swiftwater Rescue Team is also. This involves training our bodies to swim along the Whitewater rapids and bouncing off rocks for fun. This watch stands up to abuse that too. Ri can 't imagine anyone questioning ' s waterproffness. It 's one Aqualand! They DIVE WATCHES! Not fancy watches that are supposed to look like dive watches. Ref you want a fancy watch that does everything, this may not be the watch for you. But if you want to watch to tell the time, the depth, how long you 've been in the water, what is the maximum depth of your latest draft and the date was, the children see the bill and looks good wrist by IT. R rPluses: rthe glow-in-the-dark spots, enables easy reading of time in low light conditions. Rthe Titanium is hypo-alergenic. Most steel watches me burst. This one doesn 't rit ' s lighter than it looks (it 's Titanium) rThere ' s section of the watch band that slides out to accommodate a diver with a wetsuit. Neat idea. RTwo hours of light (doesn 't even have to be sunlight) runs the clock for a month. Rthe Band is comfortable, and sufficiently rigid, which remains stationary. E 'doesn ' t turn around the wrist, as some of the other watches I 've owned. R r rthe only minus I 'd mention is that the face is a bit' busy, which can make reading the time in the challenge at certain times. I 've become accustomed to it. R ref the link to my band pin fell, someone screwed up when cutting. There are links within the small rings that capture the PIN. If you Aren 't care (or don ' t know about them) can easily fall when you have the pin out. Once they fall, the pin won 't stay connected and work itself loose. They have a jeweler size the watch for you. If the terminals of the fall out, find another jeweler who knows what they are doing.
I bought a cheap $ 150 Citizen Eco-Drive watch a year ago, when my first Tag Heuer 's belt broke and I was waiting for replacement parts. Do not expect much, I was really impressed. So fast-forward a year and for my birthday I received a really great gift: the little city 's watch titanium Acqualand. Conceptually, it 's perfect for me: a robust sub ' s watch that does not need a battery and that 's lightweight and easy to wear. I especially like the concept of internal lines: instead of the functions found on a manic chrono watches like the Breitling Chrono Cockpit and Aquaracer Tag, the citizen will get a second hand (60 seconds around the mini-line) and one of 24 hours hand (very useful when you regularly cross many time zones as I do, and always think in terms of time of 24 hours). So far so good ... R Rbut unfortunately the execution leaves the clock down. The manual is classic old-fashioned tech-Japanese translation incomprehensible, though unfortunately without the unintentional humor of Yester-year 's efforts. It 's virtually impossible to get the clock to function as described in the manual, and ' ve read on blogs that the resistance of water is highly suspect. So there goes the idea of using this as a dive watch - after all, who wants to have to send it in for repair after every dive? R RSO all in all I 'm still really happy to have received this as a birthday gift and will surely be a watch I wear when out skiing and when on business trips. The luminescence is fantastic and does tell time in almost all lighting conditions much easier. But I 'll stick to my Tag for the heavy lifting and I confess that I ' m saving my pennies for the gold and blue Breitling Chrono cited because 's just so damned in-your-face and attractive According to friends who own them, Breitlings are rock-solid as Tag Heuers (I have a 6000 gold so that it will still serve me well 20 years from now). But for less than 8% of the cost of a Breitling and less than 25% of a tag, the citizen is a clock really well, unfortunately, is disappointed by the details. UPDATE: One month into my ownership of this watch, Titanium Bracelet collapsed because one of the links Retaining pin just slid out. Of course I can have it repaired under warranty, but I like to think that my ticket will be spending more time on my wrist in a FedEx envelope on the way to and from the repair facility ... So really I can 't recommend this company ' s products and 'd cut stars, but Amazon ' s website doesn 't allow you to do that when you change or update the reviews. In any case, there is an impressive experience in the round, which is sad because the concept is very interesting to watch.
The watch is very beautiful and impressive. Rthe only problem is that it is too expensive compared with these functions: chronograph and its meter deep. Revenir is made from titanium, which could cost less. Rthe best point is its power: Eco-Drive, which convert solar energy into electricity.
