I recently purchased a Citizen Skyhawk JY0000-02E-AT & am completely 'Sold ' to watch. Some reviewers have noted that it is a heavy watch, is not, however, it is a big watch. I find the faces and all sub-dials easy to read and my eyesight is not the greatest. At first glance, the police seem complex but after 45 mins reading the manual 's excellent and easy to carry out all functions. Download the manual from [...] in A4 format it 'sa lot easier to read and use than the tiny manual that comes with the watch. It is well never replace the battery, the correct time or date or change the setting back & set forth in Daylight Saving Time, all these things are done automatically. The slide rule bezel is a standard E6b Which is familiar to pilots, with instructions in the manual how to use it but even if you use it look cool! This is a 'wear it and forget it ' watch. Brilliant!
Dear all, IR receive only "Eco-Drive Skyhawk AT Watch # JY0000-02E " from Amazon through WWW. SHOPGATES.COM (). Clock r rthe is truly amazing and is one of hundreds of future that I d 'discovered now. R Word rFinal if this clock, not the hand ... so I suggest leaving your empty hand. R rRegards, r rIbrahim Al-Nasser (Bob) rRiyadh - Saudi Arabia
I call this my summer to watch. I can only take this clock with short sleeves, because the watch itself is so large. Summer in Chicago is (roughly) from June to September. R rThe clock is fun and fulfilling my childhood fantasies, a fighter pilot. But in truth I 'll never use all the dials and the loop calculator. And you better have good eyes to see all the small scales. R rit, it turns out that I wear my $ 20 Timex, with a simple, easy to read, to choose the most time.
This is one of my favorite hits. C 's great to have a watch that generates energy from light, and always keeps accurate time with radio atomic. I set the time first, then I can almost forget about it until I next door. I have peace of mind that it will be precise and have the power. Citizen said that even at full load, it can keep time for months if kept out of light (as in a drawer). R rPros: rSolid Watch takes care of itself - Eco-Drive Atomic Radio. The rubber strap is great and I like the clasp on a bracelet-style buckle. When the watch is on my wrist, the strap Snags never on any of the jackets or shirts. Eco-Drive is very effective. Comes with a CD containing a "quick start " animated instructions, and the full manual. Citizen 's website also animated instructions and full manual. When I Emailed citizen 's customer support, got an answer to my specific question, the next day. R rcon: ARMY biggest complaint is the inability to show your watch to local time, if you 've set your time display alternative somewhere considerably far. For example, my "home " time is of Los Angeles, and my "alternate / world 'time is set for Hong Kong. There is absolutely no way to display the date in Los Angeles. It becomes a problem when it 's already tomorrow in Hong Kong. Citizen ' s customer support confirmed that the only way to show the local time is to my "alternate / world 'time to be as Los Angeles. Ugh. This shows so much - it is a slide rule, radio Atomic Eco-Drive, but couldn 't show me the local date. It feels like a really basic (and mandatory) for displaying a watch like this. R rOverall I 'm still really happy with this watch. The first face may feel a little crowded because there is so much information on display between multiple subdials and two LCD screens. If you 're a fan of high technology (and have a good memory for the current date), this watch is for you!
This watch is truly an incredible machine. We could call it a perfect machine Perpetual motion - perfect, as it automatically syncs with the atomic clock (if it 's always on time), perpetual movement, because he takes care of ambient light ( if it never stops moving). I love it. The group is a little difficult to adjust and not too comfortable. But the watch itself is great. Also, it has a countdown that I find very useful.
As the science and tech-minded guy, if I clock these techno lust I felt the stirrings of the port saw that I 't seen for some time! I have certain requirements for a new clock. I wanted something functional for cycling and outdoor in the gym during workouts. I wanted something that displays multiple time zones to work easily, since I regularly with people in Europe and Asia, and I can not remember how many hours they are away. Easy or automatic adjustment to time zones when I was flying somewhere important. And of course I wanted something that looks good! R rI have been extremely happy with my Citizen EcoDrive. The solar energy, remote updates, Multiple Time Zone Display (analog, digital, more UTC), chronometer, countdown timer and clock make this perfect for me. I like the soft rubber band, as it makes the clock is quite at home in the gym or on my bike. While I must admit, haven 't use it too often, is the slide rule bezel much fun was useful for a quick calculation here and there. ($ / Gallon divided by miles per gallon last!)
I bought the new Citizen Skyhawk AT, while under my old Navihawk repaired for the second time (holding the function key break on the Navihawk, anyway, I love the Navihawk and it 's been my favorite clock for 10 years since I bought it) . The Skyhawk AT is even better than my beloved Navihawk (in many ways has backlight function, a second hand, ecodrive the function knob broke off, always on the Navihawk was a pull-out crown changed; atomic-set every time night, works fine) in the DC area. The only thing that is not better than this new model that it 's much bigger and thicker. Other than that, it 's fantastic and I say only positive things.
I actually have the stainless steel band version JY0000-53E r rpros - looks good, accurate time, true dual time all the time, but big does not feel that heavy (I was wearing a seiko titanium before this) r rcons - can not see the date or the day at a quick glance. this is the deal breaker for me. Had I realized this earlier I would not have purchased this watch, the things it can do maybe great, but the day / date feaure is needed for daily functionality.
Watch is a huge range of features that especially good for travelers and activities "field ". All in all, I think this is one of the Citizen 's best multi-featured high end watches. Enabling rational, it is easy to use, and except for its large size, watch a performance, the tough look is not overly gimicky, or pointlessly flashy. R rit 's huge size (45mm Diam excl. Crown x 15mm thick) is, in my opinion, the big drawback, making the clock a bit heavy and clunky side. The size is, however, make it easy to read. Below is my list of his Pro 's / Con ' s r rPro 's: r-Case accepts standard 22m wide straps, so you can replace the rubber strap for your own favorite if you like. R-200m water resistant so it is used for sports and water sports idving r-Full timing features (Day, Month, Year, chronograph, countdown timer, a dial Wolrd extra time for UTC / other timezones) r alarm: 2 world time alarms and one countdown alarm r Solar-powered: No battery changes needed, it is only a pro if the rechargeable battery / solar system that takes a long time r-visibility: Large easy to read dial. Luminous hands and markers, LCD backlight for night visibility. R- "Safe!" Buttons: The crown and 2 pushers work as it is almost impossible to accidentally change modes or change the setting. The crown should be pulled out to change the mode / change settings. Also the buttons look solid. R-Accurate: Radio corrected time from Atomic clock probably assures accuracy within 1 second r-slide rule bezel useful for multiplication, division, time and rate problems, the conversion r rCons: r - silent 45mm x 15mm thick case is large and sits too high off my wrist making it heavy and easy to bump things. I also think it makes the watch a little geeky (OK for me because I am a geek that). however, I don 't think all the characteristics of watches can be packed into a much smaller case. R-Main-time dial doesn 't have any numbers next ot the markers. Makes it a little tougher to tell time at a glance and harder to tell timein the dark (my watch is upsdie down?). R-Calendar mode displays only the date for the "remote " city that never home city. You must set your remote in Bethe city as home of the city to get the local date. It is easy to do, but still cracks functionality. If the people will move their labels and make perfect digital window for the home city will resolve this issue. R-max Countdown Timer 's out in 99 min. Why not make them like 24 hour chronograph. I do not really use a limit to the timer (cooking, "met back in 2 hours", etc.) R-Backlight not useable in timer or chronograph mode. (not sure how to fix it, but it would be nice) r-Digital window is a little bit, but still readable r-Case back is the photographic, making it difficult to open yourself (although there isn 't need much provided no battery changes).
