I bought this watch to replace a Seiko diving watch automatic. GH wanted to see what I could use every day and take the plunge. Also, I did not want to watch with a battery that would be necessary to replace periodicaly. RMY Seiko never been able to keep time more accurately than + / - 45 seconds per day. This watch is accurate to the second by about two months, with an inexplicable loss of 1 1 / 2 hours, which was probably my fault. Rthe Watch looks great, feels very solid and has everything I want from a daily use / Dive, watching a weekday indicator (The only thing that had my Seiko watch not). My everything, I'm very happy with this watch, especially It 's accuracy. I received this watch today. It 's as beautiful as in the picture. The face is just the perfect size and the thickness of the watch is relatively thin for a dive watch. I have a very small wrist and the watch wears beautifully. The indicators are very bright in the dark. The time and date are very easy to September The screw in crown is great if you want to go scuba diving with it. That 's why it ' s water resistant to 300 meters! One word of caution though ... while the band is beautiful with black contrasting with the stainless steel, what the description doesn 't tell you is that the black portion of the band is PVD (not rubber). When the watched arrived there were two links in the band that had major scratches / scuff marks! I did a little reading on PVD afterwards. I guess PVD scratches like crazy. R rI was disappointed that I ordered a new watch and in no way did this watch look new when it arrived. The box was kind of crumpled, there were the scratches, and there was no plastic covering the dial. I 've ordered tons of stuff from Amazon before and this is only the second time I ' ve had problems. Fortunately, Amazon 's return if painless process. R r4/2/08 One correction. I think the black portion of the band is actually rubberized (rubber covered metal), not PVD.
